At first I avoided the recommended USB 3.1 driver (Asmedia's USB3.1 driver improves latency) as I didn't see the need. And why does the PCIe sound card need a USB driver update? I really like this card it woke up my computer's sound. tried three so far and now settled on OPA2134PAGA with great bass. Setup was easy with 1.1.7 Win 10 64-bit drivers from Asus, not a CD. I bought a Beyerdynamic DT Prenium 250 Ohm and an Audioengine 5+ active speaker. I connect Soar speakers and turn them on.
