I bought it to replace my computer. It has excellent image quality and offers stable service for my needs. Requires power outlet!

The screen is bright and the 1440 x 900 resolution is perfect for a 19-inch screen. I am very happy with this monitor. That's my feedback.

I bought this monitor to play with my Xbox 360. The monitor has arrived but there are NO HDMI ports. I was very upset that I had spent all my money on a monitor I couldn't play on. There are VGA-DVI and audio power connectors. Then I realized that there is a so-called HDMI to DVI adapter. They are not expensive (from 5 to 10 dollars). They make this monitor compatible with games. I haven't had a chance to play on it, but be aware there's no HDMI.

I hate this monitor. The controls are completely unintuitive and frustrating. I had sound last night. Today no, probably because I pressed a button while removing the plastic on the edge of the monitor. The help desk agent got lost when I tried to move from left to right using the S and A keys and the up and down arrows. If possible I will send this monitor back. With this monitor, the two-star rating isn't a reflection of Revain, but of Asus. If you're looking for a cheap monitor, then it's pretty decent. However, the specified viewing angles are wide. over the top (unless you like color/contrast shifts). This is especially noticeable with vertical orientation (I notice a color change just by closing one eye or the other)

My wife likes it, but when it's shot vertically, I miss the angles. However, it is much brighter and sharper than their old ASUS monitor.

Great monitor to use as a vertical programming monitor. I use this monitor with my MacBook Pro (on a stand) for software development. It is great.

The speakers are terrible, seriously don't buy them for gaming or HD movies. Great for everyday use. I'm happy with that.

I thought my old ViewSonic LCD monitor (which fell apart just before Christmas) had weak speakers. Well folks you haven't heard and you won't hear from this monitor. Also, there is no audio-out jack to connect external speakers directly to the monitor. We had to wire them up by connecting them to a computer and plugging the cable into the monitor's input jack. Well built monitor with great support rep I'm so pleased. The color is great, not super warm, and it tilts just enough to be the perfect angle for me. It's a nice bright screen on medium settings in a sleek black box.

This monitor is perfect for my second monitor. I have the VG248QE as my first monitor and it looks great next to it. The main reason I bought it was that you can rotate it to portrait mode, which is great for chat or programming channels, or you can rotate it to landscape when playing video games or watching videos. Another reason is the great price. Highly recommended!

Asus makes very reliable monitors and I usually buy 23" or 24" monitors. I needed less space so I bought the 20 inch model. Works fine, no problems

This monitor was so easy to hook up. Colors and contrast are so vibrant compared to my 7 year old monitor that died one day. I couldn't turn up the volume on the built in speakers so I used my old ones. All in all, I highly recommend this monitor.

Use this with iMac in portrait mode. Bright and rich in contrast. I'm happy with it and it can easily be color matched to my other monitor.

I like this monitor for work and play. Watching movies is great. It's a very wide screen, which I haven't gotten used to in the past, but there's nothing not to get used to. The only thing I would wish for would be more buttons on the monitor for easy parameter adjustment.
