I was totally disappointed in my purchase because I ordered it and received it the day I went to Barbados for international study. As a college student who received a product that did not work properly, I cannot express my disappointment with this purchase. The screen flickers and freezes since I opened the box and can't return it as I'm not in the US at the moment. Totally disappointed with the purchase.

Great so far, didn't arrive with viruses or anything! Looks stylish and has excellent upload/download speeds thanks to the solid state drive. I would recommend it!

I bought this laptop for online school due to covid-19. I teach and manage the Google Classroom platform. This laptop more than lived up to expectations. Worked great while running the platform, split screen and running multiple apps while studying. No problem. Everything went smoothly and quickly. The only issue I had was that it was advertised as having a backlit keyboard, which it isn't. The keys can be an issue as the letters aren't very legible in low light. That's why I gave 4 stars. Received my new laptop today and I'm so happy with it! Works great, moves fast, picture and sound quality is what I need. I love that there are different settings for everything you do (gaming, movies, music, etc.) and once you figure out how to use Asus' built-in features, you'll love this laptop. especially for this price! Oh, and I'm very happy to be able to upgrade it for more storage and tweak it when needed.

Got this for my parents from over there, an old Asus laptop that was 7 years old and Barley made a deal so I bought this one and they love it fast loading, the great screen, fast, the light is just perfect

So I bought this to replace my battered Aspire E5 575G 53VG. While I miss the backlit keyboard, dedicated graphics, dedicated LAN port, and the ability to install 32GB of RAM from the Aspire E5, I'm happy with the purchase so far. The Vivobook 15 is all about boosting processing power while keeping a full keyboard layout and 15-inch display in a smaller space. The Vivobook also weighs less and is quieter than the device it replaced. So far, so good.

I think overall it could be a really good buy but the integrated graphics (Vega 8) takes up 2GB of RAM which isn't listed. That leaves you with 6 GB of RAM. that's 55-60% memory usage with no apps running. I returned it as throwing away more memory could be used for something with an independent graphics card and memory for it instead.
