Excellent quality cable.

I like it very much. Works great with my a6400 and the ATOMOS Shinobi monitor on the dual handle. PRO TIP: DO NOT store or transport your gear with the cable attached. You must disable it when not in use. The side micro connector is inherently brittle (this is not the fault of the cable manufacturer, just the design of the connector). You can't expect it to hold up well when you store it and it will rub against other surfaces while plugged in! Take it. Excellent purchase!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Security

Forget other guys, get this cable already!

Lightweight, perfect for my Sony a6300 with a 7" monitor attached to a SmallRig cage. I first tried a three foot micro HDMI to HDMI cable and it was too heavy. The screen flickered when plugged in. I then tried a ribbon cable which was very light but brittle and the connector broke after a few uses. Then I tried this puppy and he is PERFECT. length (it stretches). Take that!

Pros
  • Superb design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Problems with 4K signals

Unfortunately after only 3 months of use I had problems displaying 4K signals through this cable. I switched to standard non-coiled HDMI cables and did not experience the same symptoms as this cable. It seems to work really well when displaying 1080p signals from my Sony A6500 on a 4K monitor, but when the A6500's HDMI output is set to Auto or 2160/1080 the monitor will have a hard time getting the right signal to find. Only when I set the output to 1080p does the monitor find the right 4K…

  • nice thing
