🏎️ ATP Automotive Y-290 Accelerator Cable: Enhanced Performance and Durability for Efficient Throttle Control Review

I like that this product is close to the original I could find and I'm sure it will fit my Bronco. Installation was quick and easy. The most difficult part was the unfavorable angle of release from the throttle valve.

This cable worked great on my 1986 Ford 6.9 Diesel. Was a few inches longer than the original but didn't affect performance in any way. about 2 months now.

I broke my old cable trying to take it off to do something underneath. This new cable is great. I didn't know my gas pedal was so spongy. It feels way more responsive! It's very easy to install, it took 5 minutes with a socket and a flat head.

This part seems fine. I suppose it's better than a broken or frozen cable. The metal clip that holds the end of the cable to the Ford linkage pivot is shaped for easy installation; The problem is that you can automatically delete it when it's fully open. Plugging the ends of the clip will make it more difficult to install, but it will stay on the ball much more securely.
