This is probably one of the best upgrades you can make when upgrading your needle and cartridge. These new wires just take the sound to a whole new level that I've never experienced with standard unshielded copper wires. You want great sound, here are the cables.

Sound can't get from the cartridge to the rest of the system without the critical wiring connecting the cartridge to the arm. Although this may seem so obvious that it is often overlooked. This is not the place to save money. Do not specify $ for $! If you're using a high-end system and really want to hear everything on the record, spend the money where it can make a real impact.

A great upgrade, these cables offer a subtle but noticeable improvement over standard cables. They are very thin and flexible, which is great for installing large cartridges in a shell. The only complaint about the HL-5 wires is that both connectors are the same gauge. They are too small to fit pickup pegs and too big to fit shell pegs.
