1/2 inch thick steel construction that will never bend under heavy use. Overall very durable. Nice box for organization and storage. The company responded with a personal touch when I had a usage question, hence excellent product support.

This is a heavy duty tool. I received pullers, levers, gear and was disappointed in their ability to hold most of the threads. It's not like this. I just replaced four ball joints on a '96 Mazda b3000 truck with this puller and it worked flawlessly with a double shot gun set at 80psi. I would recommend it to anyone doing DIY repairs like me.

Used correctly this tool works. It comes with the right accessories for what I wanted to work on. I used it to replace the original, completely busted ball joints on a 2009 Escape. The ball joint on the driver's side put up a lot of resistance, but the tool worked really well and it held up well for the extra hits I put on it. In my case there is no bend. If lost or stolen I would buy it again.

Bought to remove the pins in the protective cage, drilled and hammered the first pin which led me to decide I needed it. Place my 1/2" air pistol on it and applied enough force to stop the gun, hit the other side with a small sledgehammer and the pin popped out, finished pushing the pin out and removed 12 more! I might buy another to make a notch for the smaller gimbal clamps, very impressed with the pressure the threads can take.

I used this to replace all of the universal joints on my Dodge 4WD pickup. The tucked drive shaft on the tailgate took the clamp and my battery powered punch of its own accord and the boom arm disengaged two universal joints in about 30 minutes. Easiest gimbal replacement of my life and I'm 65 years old. The hole at the end of the clamp is large enough for the cap on the gimbal to slide through. Damn better than two or three people using the press. There was no need to use the accessories…
