AUTEX A/C Compressor Clutch Kit BP4S61K00 For NON TURBO ENGINE Review

This was a mistake. I tried to save a few bucks thinking "how could they screw up a compressor clutch?", and here I am just over a year later with a catastrophic failure that could have been dangerous for my teen driver. My guess is that the bolt failed, but I need to dig in to confirm.Also, the connector on the clutch was wrong (had to solder original).LAST AUTEX ANYTHING I WILL BUY.cheap offshore junk parts are worth less than what you pay for them.

After two months of average use, two of the three components in this kit have failed completely.First, the coil did not come with the correct connector, so I had to cut and solder on the correct connector. What it comes with will plug directly into the harness coming from the car. This is not good as it bypasses the high temp cutoff switch.The air gap wasn’t too easy to adjust correctly, as the clutch face isn’t perfectly flat. I would get it within spec, but as I moved the feeler gauge around,

Failed after 2 weeks, more import junk. Been turning wrenches for over 40 years and it's come to a point that it's a 50/50 shot that you will get a quality replacement part. If your lucky they will send you a replacement, but you are still out the labor of doing the job twice. Off to try and find a replacement with better customer reviews, don't want to do this job a third time.

This is my second one in less than a year. Supposed to be warrantied for a year but good luck tracking the manufacture/supplier down. Saw the reviews and figured I'd save me a headache and ordered another one The bearings were crap. Look at it as a yearly investment.

Total Failure. Burning smell after install. Burnt dampers. Total loss of clutch in within short time.DO NOT BUY!. Thanks for attention.

The quality of this product is great and deserves 5 stars. I took a star off due to the fact it did not come with the wiring as shown in the photo. It is missing the hi temp cutout and correct terminal for my 2008 mazda 3 non turbo as shown in the photo. I ended up cutting the terminal end off and splicing it together to retain the factory harness. Besides that, great quality.

Cheaply made clutch would turn slowly. Thanks for attention! Then bolt broke in compressor shaft. Buy quality not cheap knock off like this.

Installed the pulley on my Mazda5 after a failed attempt to remove the bearing from the old one. It perfectly over the existing coil. Very happy with this purchase.
