Authentic iRobot Replacement Parts: Roomba 800 🔧 & 900 Series Spinning Side Brushes (3 Pack) Review

Although these are "authentic" iRobot parts, they are still too big for my model. The original spinners that came with the car didn't hit the wheels, but these did. I checked the model number and my model is on - unsatisfied. I could order a fake at half price if I wanted something that didn't fit.

My Roomba's side brush broke and couldn't clean near walls. This replacement fitted with no problems. The replacement side brush also comes with a screw in the middle, so you don't need the old one. I installed it about 3 weeks ago and what difference does it make when installed again. It is able to collect dog hair and other particles near the edge of the wall. This is a great replacement with no issues.

The delivery was fast enough and the product works as expected. I'm deducting a star because I'm not sure if these are genuine iRobot parts. They are very similar but if you compare them to the original on my 1.5 year old Roomba 870 which I bought directly from iRobot.com you will see that they are different. There was also no iRobot logo on the packaging. When I placed my order there were cheaper options that didn't claim to be original parts. So I'm deducting a star for possible false…

I have used cheaper replacement brushes and found that they wear out much quicker; So again I paid a slightly higher price for them and found that they last long enough to more than justify the cost. Update December 2018: After my first check, I found some decent quality, much cheaper alternatives. I don't know where such negative reviews come from. We received 3 OEM Roomba side brushes. Installing the side brush was very easy and it fit just as well as the one I replaced. It also works like the one he replaced. Really helps pick up dirt in corners and edges that the rumba couldn't otherwise reach. For reference, we've owned our 880 for about 9 months and use it daily. The side brushes I ordered were packaged in iRobot's original packaging so they can be authenticated as OEM parts. (Before that, I bought Roomba parts in plain brown boxes, which made me question their provenance). and replacing improves the robot's ability to pick up crumbs and other debris from corners and baseboards, leaving them in the cleaner's way.
