Cheaply Made Pillar Gauge Disappoints

This automotive pillar gauge was a total letdown. The plastic construction felt flimsy and cheap. The installation was also a nightmare, with poor instructions and a lack of compatibility with some cars. The only positive was that the gauge readings were accurate. The cons far outweigh the pros for this product. Save your money and look for a higher quality option.

Pros
  • The Auto Meter 17218 Gauge Pillar provides a sleek and professional appearance to the interior of your vehicle.
Cons
  • The installation process may require significant modification to your vehicle and could potentially damage the interior.

Good enough for lighting and electric

I really didn't want to do sensors on poles but this was the only clean way to add more sensors. Doesn't match in texture or color so I'm buying paint now. The gauges fit snugly and the shape is accurate. 2014 Ram 3500 Laramie

Pros
  • Electric
Cons
  • Expensive

Great stand, debris sensors

rod fits well, looks great with factory boost sensors and pyrometers! Sensors that fit in the rack are the best $50 sensors for $250. I wish I could just use MM3. The pyrometer is still not working properly and since I bought it from Revain I had to buy a new thermocouple myself. To work properly, the pyrometer needs a built-in fuse and ground to the motor (because it's a simple and cheap $250 sensor). The boost pressure sensor twitches a lot and can be fixed with an adapter that is not…
