Description of Auto Meter 2616 Boost Gauge

Traditional incandescent lighting illuminates around the perimeter of the dial. Auto Meter’s race proven mechanical instruments provide trusted accuracy while being simple to install. No electrical system required for gauge operation - compatible with every street or race vehicle. Mechanical movements provide accuracy and durability even in the harshest environments. Gauge kit includes 1/8” nylon line, 1/8” NPT compression fittings, 1/4” NPT adapter, bulb and socket assembly, red and green bulb covers, mounting hardware, and detailed instructions for installation.

Great boost pressure sensor for diesel

I installed this sensor on my '97 Passat TDI. Can't wait to pair it with the matching pyrometer! I used a 1st generation Dodge rack as a reference.

Excellent Quality: Turbocharger and Supercharger Parts

Bought for my 7.3 trip and it works great. Installation was easy, Boost reads right away. I put an LED on the back instead of a regular lightbulb and it looks better.

Good Sensor in Engine Parts

I have used this sensor before and the reason for the 3 stars on installation is due to the car it was fitted to. There are no dash holes and the easiest place to get a boost source was the 1/8 NTP hole in the intercooler top tube, so I didn't go with the vacuum/supercharger version. The pressure gauge is accurate and easy to install in most vehicles.
