Performance - Air/Fuel Ratio

The air/fuel ratio sensor monitors the amount of fuel being delivered to the engine at specific throttle positions. For best results it is recommended to install a fuel management controller. This gauge is ideal for car enthusiasts driving a turbocharged vehicle.

Autometer A/F is good for lighting and electrical applications

Although this is a "narrow band" version it is cheap and I wanted to fill the space in my sensor box and I have all the Autometer sensors. I'm not sure what it would look like or what would have to do with a "wide band" sensor, but this sensor looks great while driving and is very high quality.

Pros
  • Electrical
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Not very useful sensor

Autometer makes very good quality sensors. This sensor is no exception when it comes to build quality, but unfortunately the narrow-band AFR (air-fuel ratio) sensor isn't very useful. It connects to the car's standard oxygen sensor, and as a result you'll see a constant back and forth movement from full rich to full lean on the sensor. You get a nice light show but no useful information. Luckily, Autometer will be releasing a wideband AFR sensor soon, which will include a Bosch wideband oxygen…

Pros
  • Lighting and power
Cons
