For use with Auto Meter's 5 pedestal mount tachometers as an add on piece or replacement Shift-Lite. Includes incandescent bulb, amber lens & yellow boot. Compatible with external, non-LED based, shift light tachometers, Sport-Comp playback tachs, RPM activated modules, and DPSS controllers. Responds to pre-selected RPM for an accurate shift every time. Available in black finish.

Terrible Shift Light

Waste of money, this shift light is unreliable and frustrating. Automotive based on my experience, the light would randomly turn off and stop working. The installation process was also a hassle and took longer than expected.

Shift Light: Lighting and Electrical

Nice to have. Big ! working accuracy. If I lose RPM when changing gears (6000), I could lose the whole engine. I have a 300hp VW 20 1.8 with a Garrett 2860 valve

This is simply plugged into the factory plug on the Tach wiring harness and you're good to go.

I bought this to replace my AutoMeter Sport Comp Tach. I bought a used tachometer without a shift light. This is simply plugged into the factory connector on the speedometer wiring harness and you're ready to go.
