Auto Meter 5381 Direct Gauge Review

NO pressure gauges! The bezel is just devoid of electronics or functionality, it's just a piece of plastic with the inside filled in to hold the aftermarket sensors that you buy separately. The photo is deceptive.

The only reason I even give it 3 stars is because technically it gets the job done. I wouldn't say this cheap, flimsy piece of plastic costs $100. After all, I wasn't blessed with the know-how or patience to come up with something else.

This is going to be AWESOME! Plan to use in Jeep TJ Wrangler HEMI project! Quality costs money and that will work great! And for the guy who gave it two stars, did you "really" think that for $85 you got a dash AND all the Auto Meter gauges? Serious? Anyway, I would recommend this to anyone looking to use aftermarket gauges on their TJ Wrangler project.

This thing is BEAUTIFUL! Definitely a must have for a TJ owner who wants new instruments. Two complaints that a) it would be nice to have a smaller opening for the speedo and tach. That would make it better in my opinion because now it seems like the sensors are suppressing a dash that is already too small. B) There must be cables for two direction indicators and one for headlights. I drilled three holes (off center and not aligned because I vacuum) for 6mm LED lights using a holder I bought…
