This exhaust gasket is made of material. It has great durability, is firm and not easy to crack. The exhaust pads are flexible and can be reused. It does not require a sealant and the performance is good. Fit for 1991-1997 for BMW 320i, 1995-1997 for BMW 323i 2.5L, 1991-1997 for BMW 325i, 1995-1997 for BMW 328i, 1990-1995 for BMW 520i 24V, 1990-1995 for BMW 525i 24V, 1996-2002 for BMW 520i, 1996-1999 for BMW 523i, 1996-1999 for BMW 528i. BMW M50 engine. - Exhaust manifold

Works but I wouldn't call it reusable even after a month. Replaced them a second time after having to put a manifold gasket on the head after trying them out. They really work and are thick enough to work well. The best alternative is Remflex pads, which I use elsewhere but will never reuse.
