Does not fit Sonata 2012

My photo shows my old rotor on the new rotor. This product is said to match the 2012 Sonata, but guess what... This brake kit will not fit 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Unfortunately I thought I had the wrong settings for my car but I had the right settings and now I have TWO pairs of wrong brake kits. Please ensure you have the correct sizing information as they do not return this product.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Bad experience

I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS

After visiting several certified dealerships and getting front brake reviews ranging anywhere from $400 to $280, I decided to get the parts and get one myself Mechanic to hire work. I saved almost $100 in total. It took the mechanic 45 minutes to install these amazing brakes. I highly recommend them. The materials are way better than the parts they would use. I've replaced the brakes on at least 30 cars over the years.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Questionable Senior Purchase

CHECK THE CONFIGURATION OF THE WEBSITE!

This appears to be a quality product at a good price BUT the pads that come with the 'front' kit ARE DESIGNED FOR THE REAR BRAKES! Very frustrated, now I have to go to the local shop and pay 3 times as much for the same pads because my car is already disassembled and I need to change the brakes before the Revain arrives for replacement. If you scroll all the way down to where the specs are, it says position: back. But in the main description it says in front.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Striking noises inside

I have replaced both sides of my 2014 Sonata and it is very loud when broken. I've been driving it for 4-5 months now, the knocking persists. I checked the drive pin rubber and both were lubed and I even swapped out the brake hardware to minimize the noise, but it was noticeably noisy under braking and even daily driving. Luckily, noise isn't that important to me because I don't use this machine that often, but for those who make noise, it quickly becomes annoying over time.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • clarity

Just as good as OEM in my opinion

Absolutely perfect for my 2015 Optima LX. The installation went well and the parts arrived in perfect condition. I have to say that I had no brake oil. Not such a big deal since I have a car shop near my home, but it can be annoying for some people. I've followed the break-in instructions up to the letter "t" and these breaks work very well. Good braking performance and no squeaks. I plan to buy more for the rear. The dealer wanted $230 just for the brakes (no rotors) and the local mechanic…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
