No instructions why sponges? The tabs on the black plastic frame were crushed and broken off in the box. The metal parts worked perfectly. I glued the frame because I won't be removing the radio.

This is the correct way to install a Dual Dyne on your 2002 F-250. All the double din hits force you to change the dash. This will NOT allow you to remove the dashboard to remove the radio. Sure, there's a bit of extra work to make it look seamless, but a bit of plastic work is better than taking apart the dash every time you need to blow a fuse or replace a connector.

This kit helped me to install my stereo system. However, it comes with a quick-release bracket that allows you to easily remove your stereo without taking the dash apart. The entire frame that comes with the kit is too small for a mount and I couldn't use it. The radio was actually tight to the frame so I didn't use anything to attach the radio to this frame and it is held firmly in place by friction.

Won't kill you to attach simple instructions. Also, the supplied mounting screws were too big for the main unit; I tried using the screws that came with the stereo but they went through oversized holes in the fixed side bracket. In the end I had to drill holes in the head unit, even then the screws didn't screw in evenly and flush. Self-tapping screws should be used instead of fine machine threads. Just received today. Waited for him to pack the main unit into my truck. This will be a completely custom installation as the truck comes with a handle style radio. I have tried some others but this one fits Atoto perfectly and the frame fits very well too. Yes the frame came face down to the cage so it might get scratched but mine looks fine.
