Solid disc base for grinding, buffing, buffing

Love this thing, ordered another inch. This is a hard plastic disc, not foamed or flexible. The fluffy pads are padded and grinding wheels and melamine foam discs can also be ordered.

Do not use a tool with a Dremel if it will not improve the quality of the steel on the shaft part.

The shank is not strong enough to be used with a dremel, fast, and he bent the associated shaft.I wanted him to polish my stained glass but he heated both the roller and the dremel tool at the lowest speed.Very disappointed.

Works well with the Dremel tool

These polishing pads work very well. The surface is even, with smooth seams and the polishing pads adhere well to the backing plate. I use them for polishing small parts and scale models, so it's good to have something that fits a 1/8" Dremel tool. I wish they made them 1 inch too.

Fall apart very quickly.

At first they work fine, but they wear out very quickly, even trying to slow down didn't help. I polished an 18" wheel and ran 3 of them through in a short amount of time. I also polished the brass plate which is slightly larger than the switch plate and went through one of these in about 3 minutes with brass polish so I went back to my big wool pad and finished the job. A good idea for small things, but not very well made.
