My original doorbell was hard to hear upstairs, so I got this. It works great. Needed to open the transmitter to remove the plastic cover off battery before it worked fully. Didn't see that in notes. Back cover was a little hard to remove. It gave directions to sync the receiver with the transmitter, but I think they were already done. Easy to set up and use, great product for the price. Would definitely recommend.

This was perfect for my mom's apartment in assisted living as she is hard of hearing and could not hear people knocking. Highly recommend this product where no doorbell is recommended. There are too many sounds to choose from but am glad the normal doorbell sound is one of the choices. Also had flashing light which we don't need but may be good for those visually impaired!

No batteries to go dead outdoor unit has long life lithium battery. Always good idea to buy extra batteries for all your battery operated equipment, that requires changing

Use doorbell as a portable device. Plug speaker into caretaker’s location. Broadcast range good on my older 5 BR home. The doorbell's volume cannot be adjusted to a low setting!

Great product. We use this in our kids bedrooms instead of yelling up the stairs to get their attention. Each child has a separate remote and a sound/song of their choice.

My old doorbell wire broke somewhere. This one just has a device that plugs in, and produces the actual chime, communicating wirelessly with the doorbell button mounted outside. Outside comes with a flat watch battery that I assume will last a reasonable amount of time. Mounting is easy enough. The feature of multiple doorbell sounds is just a dumb thing -- none are ones you would ever want to use other than the default "ding dong ding dong" bell sound. There's no ability to change the volume…

Plug it in! It's as simple as that. Volume is good, many sounds to choose from including the Little Mermaid! Thanks for attention.

Was worried with aluminum wrapped door frame it would not work, but works perfect :)First person to see it ask if it was a camera doorbell, NO, it is not a camera doorbell but people thinking so could be a deterrent and a positive!

The products works well as described. The adhesive tab for the bell push makes it ideal for apartment use. Even when mounted on a steel clad door, the bell worked flawlessly.The one item I wish were better is the sound - I would have preferred a louder volume and longer duration of the sound.Still, the product works well.

It’s been through a few rough rain storms and still working well for me. Love all the different songs you can choose from. Good purchase.
