We thought this was what we would need to use with my son's XBox One but it turned out the XBox was constantly shutting down. It didn't work and we tried to ask the seller for help or support but got no response from anyone. I will never buy again and will not trust any company that is not accountable for their product. That's what my son spent his money on. bad buy.

It was a waste of my money and working with this hard drive was the biggest time waster in a long time. It has trouble loading games, sometimes the Xbox won't even register because it's plugged in, and finally some games I ended up downloading as well wouldn't even load the game when I tried to play them. My advice: buy a Seagate that says Xbox.

The device failed within a year, seven (7) months to be exact. never dropped or damaged. I turned on my Xbox to play Apex in my stream and the device started making clicking noises. Assuming you have a 2 year warranty on the nut you will never be able to reach anyone on the number provided by the seller. The instructions are not well written, lots of typos, and they also say to turn off the xbox before plugging in the device, but I found that when you plug in this device, the xbox MUST be on or your xbox not work. I bought this product for my Xbox One S about 4 months ago and thought it would last a year or two. But about 2 weeks ago I was playing CoD Modern Warfare and none of the textures loaded. Then I contacted my friend who works as an IT professional and he realized it was my external one. Moral of the story: do not buy this product. Get an SSD that lasts 2-3 years. It will work a little more, but it's worth it.
