I wanted a lamp with a plug, not a hardware store project. Warning, you have to assemble it yourself. This is not a ready-made lamp.

Looked great with the headboard I made! But the instructions were terrible! A page chart with letters. No color coding etc. Luckily my husband knew what he was doing!

I used these lights on a headboard I made for my king size bed. I drilled a hole behind each to allow the wires to go through the headboard. You have a switch on each light to easily turn it on and off.

We really like how these lamps look for our bedroom. This allows for more space on our edge tables BUT if it wasn't for another customer's feedback on hooking it up I would have no idea. The attached instructions are not informative!

I like the look and it seems like a good price. Unfortunately, the cord is only about 4 feet long, which won't work if your plug is at baseboard level. This could work if you're using it over a table, but not as a wall light. Also you have to connect the plug to the lamp, I don't think it's that hard and I would if the wire wasn't so short. i have to return it

The only reason I took a star off was because the underside wasn't as white as the other light I bought. The dark color on the bottom doesn't look good and doesn't reflect the light as well as the white bottom. Otherwise, it's great value for money. Ease of installation. Comes ready to hardwire or install pigtails and connect to nearest power source. Good design.

First I bought a lantern from a local chain store and then I found it at a better price and with a more attractive look. It had a plug to make installation easier for our project. The hub was connected and installed without much difficulty, just a little time. A dowel for the front screws was missing, but we ended up using our own screws so they were long enough to screw into the headboard. Lamps are good, as in the photo. The instructions for using the light as a recessed wall light are TERRIBLE. Although the description says "Professional Installation Recommended", it's actually very simple and anyone can do it safely by following the right instructions. Replace the screws in the mounting bracket with the shorter screws from the kit and install the bracket in the desired location.
