I installed this iPad holder right next to my bed and am delighted with the results. As an older person, I can relax and watch my favorite channels with a screen that suits me perfectly. Essential in the kitchen. I can cook my recipes right under the video and the built in stand protects my iPad from food and heat. Received for Thanksgiving. It sticks very well to the side of the closet. I mainly use my iPad to view recipes while cooking. I've seen some people say they had an issue where the hinge couldn't support the tablet's weight and had to constantly adjust it. I think due to the way I installed it (sideways) it doesn't have this problem. I also see some people mounting it along the way. I wish the package included drywall expansion screws as well.

This product was at a good price. I was expecting a lightweight little product but when it arrived it was pretty solid, turned out to be larger than I expected, folded up nicely and held both my phone and Fire 10 perfectly. This works great if you install and leave. However, problems can arise with heavier tablets or those that need to be reconfigured frequently. I use it as an external camera monitor with an Android tablet (Vankyo MatrixPad S21) and never have to move it, but the plastic ball/socket does wear out. over time if it is constantly adjusted. I really enjoyed using this for my iPad while cooking and then putting it out of the way when I'm done. The mechanism that holds the iPad itself is very solid. However, the adjustable parts on your arm won't stay where you place them unless you constantly use the hex wrench (included). This is a big pain. Also, I used 3m for hanging - worked great for just over a week and then accidentally collapsed one day when I was in another room.

I see in other reviews that there is an issue with the holder not staying in place. I wish I could DM them and ask if they tried the hex wrench that came with this item to tighten the screws in the bracket. This must be done to tighten the loops. I find the mount very useful both as a wall mount and portable.
