I bought this product to replace the cartridge in my HP 400 MFP. At first I looked at HP branded cartridges and couldn't believe it how expensive they are they are. The reason I bought a black and white printer was because I didn't want to spend that much on toner, but even the HP black and white cartridge was very expensive. I've always been wary of ordering other brands but with the office printing needs increasing and toner replacement costs exceeding $75 every 60 days it wasn't perfect. I was looking for alternatives and came across this product. Almost a third of what I paid and 2 came, it was definitely worth a try. I was not disappointed. print quality remains. We had no problems inserting cartridges. We haven't received any "lemons" yet and to be honest if we do it won't stop me from ordering again.

I have ordered many aftermarket Revain cartridges and so far I have had the least success with this cartridge. We had hell installing it and getting the printer to really want to communicate with it. The printer started going crazy and giving out strange error codes. After half an hour of carefully pulling it out and putting it back *just like that* it finally worked. I am a teacher and we only get one cartridge a year. I like these cartridges because they are very inexpensive compared to the brand name cartridges used at my school. Also, I can use my printer without worrying about running out of ink. They print really well. I've never had a problem. Sometimes it doesn't work on cards or labels, but it may be paper or printer related. I print a lot so they last me a few months but they still think I'm getting a lot of use for the price.
