Fun colors/activities that are easy for a child to understand/manipulate.

This educational toy has fun colours/activities and is easy for baby to hold. I've managed to have some children's toys on hand for when my grandkids come. It's good and my 7 month old granddaughter seems to like it a lot. It has a row of brightly colored buttons that activate sounds or lights. She is easy to handle and likes to click on different areas to create different patterns of sounds and lights. All surfaces and seams are smooth and easy to clean with an antibacterial cloth. Very happy…

Funny educational toy

This toy is ideal for multilingual families. The colors are in Spanish, English and French. I love how you can mix colors by pressing two colors at the same time. I want the music to play all the time so I can use it lying on my stomach, but you have to press the button every time you want to hear the song, and the songs aren't that long: they go from 9 to 33 seconds. Also, the buttons don't let you skip songs, instead they make silly noises. This requires 3 AAA batteries - not included. My…

Cute and safe baby toy

This is a fun and very safe toy. My little grandson plays with it every time we visit. It keeps him busy more than any other toy. He likes to press the bars and the sound feels comfortable. It's magical to see him understand that when he does "this", "that" happens. His older cousins help him learn the colors along with the spoken words from the toy. Maybe a little too much for a kid, but worth a try. Small enough to be used as a travel toy. Battery operated so I don't have to think about…

Entertains and educates baby

This review is for the Baby Einstein Curiosity Kaleidoscope Cause & Effect electronic toy. A great little educational toy that stimulates the senses and helps children experience the sights and sounds of the world for the first time and explore the cause and effect relationships that make a toy do different things. It's well made, with a thoughtful design. The size is amazing too. It's big enough to pique the interest of a younger child, yet small enough to be easily packed up and taken on a…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

First impression - Very nice packaging, attractive. I was expecting it to be smaller at this price but I'm glad it's big which makes it easier for a child to use this handy toy. Looks high quality and also very beautiful. Highly recommended to all parents. My 2 cents below: Pros: - Overall good build quality - Design is very well done and cute - Cause and effect educational toys - Choice of English, Spanish and French modes to teach multilingualism to the child as they grow up - Colorful and…

My grandson was so fascinated!

My grandson is 9 months old and has been playing with this Baby Einstein Curiosity Kaleidoscope for hours. He was totally fascinated! However, this is not surprising! Baby Einstein always has a path to learning and development through his toys. With them, learning is fun! The important things first! You need 3 AAA batteries to have fun! As always, the battery compartment is securely closed with a screw. So yes, find this mini screwdriver before Christmas! English, Spanish and French! Yes, all…

Good price, interest wanes quickly

Priced (just under $12 at time of review) this little kid's toy is a good deal. If you have a collection of toys for your kids, this isn't a bad addition, but it's also not great if you're looking for "simple" (ie long-term) toys. It lights up and makes sounds like all other children's toys. I wouldn't say it's at least educational; or at least no more educational than random household items. That is, your child will not suddenly know colors and speak English, Spanish and French (I hope that…
