Finding the diffuser for my babyliss volare v2 which I use when working with my clients has been a hassle. I bought this unit for home use first to make sure it works and works well. Easy to put on and take off. "Hands" are made of hard plastic, so they will not deform over time if stored improperly.

People who gave negative reviews obviously did not read in the description which hair dryers the diffuser works with. This is a great product and fits my dryer which is listed in the description.

Works well but when I first bought it it matched my BaBylissPRO Tourmaline Titanium Travel Dryer (http://a.co/d0M4PF4) perfectly, simple attach and stay in place. But one day it suddenly fell off and wouldn't turn on again. I thought maybe the heat from the dryer expanded/contracted the plastic? I used a hair dryer to heat the plastic and glue it back onto the nozzle, but I had to handle it gently for a few days before it felt "stuck" again. Even now I have to be gentler with him than before…

First, read the product description carefully. Each diffuser type is suitable for different hair dryer models. The cap fits Rapido, ItaliaBrava, Volare V2 or Torino 6100. The nozzle fits Volare V1 or Portofino 6600. I ordered slide-on and it fits my Portofino 6600 hair dryer perfectly. This product is an original Babyliss product so it should it work well with a Babyliss hair dryer. The diffuser is great! It helps me create beautiful curls and great volume.

Perfect for my iluminoso. The only complaint is that the bowl of this diffuser is so shallow. I have shoulder length hair so it doesn't "comb" my hair like my old Revlon all-in-one diffuser did. I like that there is no metal plate in the middle. My husband had to epoxidize the Revlon metal center to keep it in place. While it's not the best diffuser I've ever used, I will continue to use it because I love how it matches my new Babyliss dryer.
