First, the size is very large, causing the shoe to slip in the heel. I usually wear a 9.5 but a size 9 is still big in these shoes. The texture of the leather is a bit rough and the color is deliberately uneven, giving the shoe a casual Western feel. They look great with jeans or slacks. The $200+ list price is way more than worth it given the leather quality and craftsmanship. I was comfortable paying $110.
