DO NOT USE FOR AIRBRUSHING

Absolutely worst experience trying to airbrush this. Dries very quickly and clogs the tip. Then you'll end up with uneven splatters of primer or you'll have to sit down and brush off the tip frequently. I don't even cook anything big, just some 28mm D&D miniatures. I tried adding a few drops of flow improver before but it still didn't stop it from drying too quickly. It's a pity that a ring of dried earth accumulated in the cup and it was insanely difficult to wash it off.

Clogs airbrushed, rough finish, disappointment!

Was very disappointed with this primer. I followed the directions and sprayed it undiluted at around 25-30psi. I ended up with a very rough, powdery finish (not self-leveling at all) and the airbrush was clogging and spattering in big chunks. Cleaning the airbrush was very difficult and time consuming. I tried thinning it with some water and that worked for some, but the airbrush still came out in big chunks and the finish was very inconsistent - some sections were smooth and others rough like…

A good thing !

I only bought this white primer because I wanted to use pearl white as a primer and it is translucent. I think I'll pick up some gray and black along the way as well. In short, I definitely like this primer a lot. I've used it on plastic and wood so far with good results. I find that I need to thin it down a bit to be able to layer and build up the paint the way I want rather than sandblasting it in one thick layer. I've diluted it with my own thinner, I've trimmed the primer down by about…
