The Neanderthal I call a guy has the hair gene on the back of his head. Shaving your back in stages is a full-time job. I assume that by reading the review on this device you are familiar with what I am talking about. Anyway, I bought this for him in case I can't shave his back and he needs to for some reason. Great to have those moments as a backup. He said it takes some getting used to, but of course you do. Usually he just stands there while I do all the work.

Good quality, works as described. The only HUGE downside is the replacement blades, they are very expensive and the blades can only be used a couple of times before they become dull (about 2 or 3 uses). I solved my problem by gently peeling off the plastic with a flat head screwdriver. I took out 3 poor quality blades and replaced them with Astra double blades that I bought on Amazon. I know there are a lot of Bigfoot and Chewbacca jokes in this review thread but I will tell you this product is great for removing back hair and even works dry with no pain . I don't have a lot of hair on my back, which would make it easier to use without water, but for those who are a little uncomfortable wearing shirtless or tank tops, this easily solves the problem and is well worth the money.

As far as back hair goes, I'm a fully covered Chewbacca vacationing at Casa de Hoth. I received the backblade yesterday. I used it dry like Tuscan Raider, tattoo type dry. It worked great. I needed a mirror to see how I was doing. I had to go through the same locations multiple times to tame the Forest Moon of Endor. It looks like a scratch on the back.
