I needed a way to freeze small portions of food. Normal ice cube trays were too small. The rooms were just the size I needed. I freeze food, take it out and store it in freezer bags. Easy to remove food (coated with non-stick spray) and wash.

Bought for baby food. I need something larger than average ice cube size so I can eat a whole meal in one cube for my 9 month old baby. I'm having some trouble getting them out, my hands get really cold pushing the cubes out, but they work well and I'm happy with the size of the cube.

I need a Soft-Flex tray for freezing blocks of pesto. I love making my own pesto and wanted to freeze some. This tray was perfect for preparing 15 blocks of pesto in my freezer for summer, fall, and winter cooking.

I was looking for ice cube trays to freeze the pesto we make every summer. We used to use regular ice cube trays but they were a bit small and we had to use 1 1/2 cubes for our regular recipes. This is the perfect size. It seems like a pretty good price and they work as expected.

These are very good silicone ice cube trays for *food*. Trays are durable in look and feel, not flimsy. Cubes are easy to fill and take out, and I like more squares. The dice are very big which is great because you only need 1-2 and not many regular ones. I would buy more products like this for my kitchen.

Ice comes out much easier than the competition's 1.25" silicone molds and larger ice cubes last longer. 2" ice cubes fit in the Yeti cup and last a very long time, but they don't fit the Hydroflask WideMoutth. These are the only 1.5" silicone molds I can find. For ice, less than 1.5" cubes, bear removal process, so thanks BakerPan!

While this product is great for freezing, each cavity does NOT hold exactly 1/4 cup! Only 3 tbsp can be put in each hole; The 4th tablespoon flows out. Don't buy this thinking you'd freeze exactly 1/4 cup cubes. It is unlikely that this will happen. I purchased these trays SPECIFICALLY to make 1/4 cup cubes and I am royally advised that they are not as advertised!

Everything I hoped for! Yes, large ice cubes melt more slowly (particularly useful in large water jugs for sports with children). My main goal was to freeze other items. Large portion size for pesto! Once made, yogurt is perfect for whey cubes (I use them to boost protein in smoothies and other recipes).
