Everything I hoped for! Yes, large ice cubes melt more slowly (particularly useful in large water jugs for sports with children). My main goal was to freeze other items. Large portion size for pesto! Once made, yogurt is perfect for whey cubes (I use them to boost protein in smoothies and other recipes). Because the silicone is flexible, the overall size of the bowls allows them to be placed in the freezer without spilling. Easy to get dice. . Easy cleaning. Note: Larger cubes will take longer to freeze. The only "problem" I have is that I need more! Highly recommended!
