Super excited about this bread pan.

I have tried many bread pans with varying degrees of success. I think this pan with bottom vents and a retractable lid would be great. This pan is made from heavy carbon steel alloy and has a non-stick coating. Its dimensions are 8.4 x 4.6 x 4.33. The lid slides well and you have to push down a bit to close it. I'd suggest spraying with nonstick cooking spray and putting parchment paper on the bottom if you're baking with a batter like banana bread. At the time of writing this review, the price

Lid is sharp and too loose otherwise strong and good non stick

It's nice and strong, overall well made but I still don't really like it. The edges of the lid are pretty sharp and the lid itself doesn't fit very well. It's too loose and doesn't hold up well. I had a loaf that I think rose unevenly, it pushed the lid halfway during baking. The non-stick aspect works very well. It's nice and square too, my OCD approves. It has its perks, but I don't think it's for me. Don't forget to take advantage of Smile.Revain.com, the Revain program where you can buy…

Delicious homemade bread made

I don't bake much bread, but wanted to because I miss grandma's homemade bread. I saw this pan and decided to try it. It turns out a TALL loaf with a smaller crust and taller sides. Good if you don't like the top crust, but bad if you use butter on it since you have less surface area for the butter. The bread cooked very well, but maybe a little darker than I would ideally like. It's probably my fault for not checking it sooner, even though I pulled it out 10 minutes earlier than the recipe…

Ideal for sandwich bread

Traditional sandwich bread has a dense texture and a rectangular shape. This pan ensures you get the right shape and texture. It's also a very, very well made pan. I'm very picky about my baking pan and it will have a permanent place in my collection. When I first baked a loaf of bread (1 pound, no more), I put a little less batter in the pan than I would for a regular loaf pan because the bread can't expand past the rim of the pan. It worked great. I got a good loaf of bread and a bun (to…

Bakes nice bulman bread after adjusting the lid

With the lid it bakes nice bulman bread. You can also bake the bread without a lid if you want a rounded top. The first time I baked in this pan, I used America's Test Kitchen's American Sandwich Bread recipe. I have baked this bread many times - it contains butter, honey and milk, making it a very tender and tasty bread. I used about 20 ounces King Arthur bread flour (about 3.5 cups flour) and baked in convection, covered at 350F for 50 minutes. This pan turned out BEAUTIFUL. Before baking, I…
