Description of ⏲️ BALDR Kitchen Timer - 2.4 Inch Diameter, Sleek Black Finish

KNOW EXACTLY HOW MUCH TIME IS LEFT AT A GLANCE: With a bold red dial, you get a clear read on how many minutes remain. This mechanical kitchen timer is perfect for baking cookies, pizza, and any other food that cooks in under one hour. (Timer counts up to 60 minutes.). YOU DON’T NEED BATTERIES TO USE: This timer is 100% mechanical, meaning it doesn’t need batteries. To start it, you just turn the dial clockwise to the 59-minute mark. Then turn it counter-clockwise to your desired time — and you’re all set. STRONG MAGNETIC BACKING FOR EASY MOUNTING: Made with a magnetic base, this mechanical timer will stick to most metal surfaces, including stainless steel refrigerators and ovens, for easy access. Stainless steel itself, it matches many appliances. RETRO LOOK AND SOUND: With a classic red dial, surrounded by stainless steel, it’s a lot like what mom used to use in the kitchen. This mechanical timer even has that old-school tick-tick sound and “Ding!” alarm bell. Loud enough to hear, but not annoying. IDEAL FOR TIMING SCHOOLWORK TOO: Not just for cooking, this mechanical timer is perfect for use in the classroom — for timing tasks like exams and group projects. It’s also a great way to track how much time is spent on homework. How To Use: If fail to complete these 2-step procedures, the timer won’t ring. Turn clockwise rotation to the end (turn a circle wind up the clock) then counter-clockwise rotate to the time you need. i.e. to set a 13-minutes timer , turn a full circle ,then counter-clockwise back to 13, the timer will then start counting down. When 13 minutes run up , it will ring.

Fantastic tool for parents

I use this timer to tell my baby how much time is left - at the dining table, in the bathroom etc. This is a great tool for parents, and even though it has been dropped several times, it still keeps ticking. I love that I can hang it on the fridge - it's also used for cooking. It's a clockwork timer, which means you have to wind it all the way up and then reduce the time to 15 minutes or whatever you need. I've never had a problem with a call while doing this.

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not everything fits

A much cheaper VISUAL timer worth trying!

Only time will tell! However, after over a month of daily use, I couldn't wait to share how promising and wonderful this VISUAL magnetic timer is! Those who need visual timers know the brand names of competitors, but an expensive brand name can make ordinary people think and look for reliable alternatives. There is no new pause button, but if you know your number, you can turn back the dial for the remaining time in the event of an interruption. Please note that his face is protected and can be

Great little timer for timer

I bought this timer to time my writing sessions - sort of a Pomodoro technique: 45 minutes of writing with a break between sessions. The timer works as advertised and appears to be accurate within seconds. It's light and small. The ticking is a bit loud in a quiet room, but not annoying. Does not disturb the people sitting nearby. The alarm clock is loud enough, but not too loud. I like the red overlay which gives a good idea of how much time you have left in the session. Setting the timer is…

We love it! the best in timers

I love this timer so much! Our Bosch ovens have a really quiet timer and I love that this timer mounts right on the oven next to the controls and looks built in, it also doesn't need a battery and has a nice loud, not too long, one off alarm when the Time is up. My kids love to visually see how much time is left (red part) and even I like to take a quick look around from a distance where the digital display would be too difficult to read. This works best if you wind it all the way up so it's…

Lasted 2-1/4 years, not long enough otherwise great

I've tried half a dozen timers and was looking for one that (1) had a strong magnet so I could (2) use a can turn hand when it sticks to my fridge. Finally found it! It's accurate, it's easy to see how much time is left, the ringtone isn't too loud, not too quiet, etc. The only problem is that I rarely install it and it doesn't start ticking (so doesn't ring). but it's only if I don't move the dial far enough before putting it back in place - and almost every mechanical timer has this problem…

Pros
  • Consistent test results

  • Minor issues

Simple, reliable and inexpensive

Practical little gadget. So far we've used it as a cook timer, freeze timer (15 minutes in the freezer for our favorite cold), kindergarten chore timer, cat sleep alarm, board game timer, and sprinkler timer. But the types of fun you can have with this thing are endless. Baby especially loves turning it over for a random countdown and placing it neatly next to cat when she insists on napping in the dryer. And while we exhort our child to refrain from useless pranks, this mission of safety…
