I love this timer so much! Our Bosch ovens have a really quiet timer and I love that this timer mounts right on the oven next to the controls and looks built in, it also doesn't need a battery and has a nice loud, not too long, one off alarm when the Time is up. My kids love to visually see how much time is left (red part) and even I like to take a quick look around from a distance where the digital display would be too difficult to read. This works best if you wind it all the way up so it's red and then rewind it to the desired time. Essentially, you "load" the timer by winding it all the way up. Also make sure you can hear it ticking softly, if not just give it a slight twist and it will ignite. The lack of a tick means it doesn't count down, which sometimes happens, but can be resolved by simply listening for a tick when you first set the timer. Have fun with it - it's a great easy update for us!
