Heavy compared to other models but well made with one caveat: a carrying strap would be useful. It also sways in gusty winds, but doesn't break or evert.

I really like this umbrella. Simply put: 1. Solid construction, good build quality. 2. Will not roll over in strong winds. 3. The wooden handle fits your hand perfectly. 4. Small enough to travel and big enough to keep me dry.

I had a problem with my umbrella after owning it for a year and using it very easily. Seller was super responsive and got everything right, couldn't be happier with the level of service! That being said, we love the look, feel, and performance of this umbrella. It held up very well on very windy and rainy days and never turned over. Love the wooden handle and the colors and the fabric feels and looks premium, holds up to showers very well.

I've never spent money on an umbrella, but it was a worthwhile investment. The first most striking impression of this umbrella is the build quality. From the handle to the lid, from the canvas to the frame, everything is of high quality. It is only natural that, given its price, one would also want to take good care of such an umbrella, which only extends its lifespan. That's good because it looks like it's going to last and is a keeper.

Nicely crafted wooden handle and feels much better than expected. I always thought there was nothing better than a rubberized handle for a better grip, but I was wrong. Although the real plus of this umbrella is the material of the dome. It is extremely water repellent and doesn't take much effort to shake off excess water. Bought for its "uniquely strong frame". Well, it broke on the second day of use when it exploded around a corner in Venice. The plastic on three spokes burst. Update June 1, 2017 Customer service is 5 stars though. They contacted me after my review and offered to send me a replacement with their new and updated version which I received today. I'm always on the lookout for "non-reversible" umbrellas. I'm fed up with cheap umbrellas that completely spoil at the first gust of wind. I usually choose GustBuster but the quality of my last GustBuster was disappointing so I tried Balios. Not much for color/design choices.
