Description of 🌿 Bamboogle Food Grade Mineral Oil: Easy Applicator for No Mess Cutting Board Care

Mineral oil can be cheap and thick or expensively refined and thin, ours is highly refined and thin to absorb deeper into wood fibers to protect your cutting boards better and longer. We blend our premium mineral oil with lemon and orange essential oils, to give a wonderful fresh scent but also because the citric acidity opens the pores of the wood fibers even more, allowing maximum absorption for beauty and protection. Restores & Protects Wood Cutting Boards - Hydrates, seals and penetrates deeply into wood to prevent warping, cracking, drying & rotting!. Apply a generous amount of mineral oil to the entire surface of the board and let it soak in overnight. This will make the board much more moisture resistant, while keeping the wood lubricated enough to avoid drying out and warping. Bamboogle Butcher Block Oil penetrates wood fibers for Extra protection and revitalizing appearance of wooden kitchen utensils. Wood should look good!. Proudly Made in USA - lemon & orange food safe mineral oil is subtle & natural, keeps wooden cutting boards fresh and rich looking. 5 fl. oz cutting board oil will last 12-18 months in most kitchens! Easy to use, easy to store.

You know your chopping board needs a good oiling to keep it from cracking and staining. But who remembers where they store mineral oil, and now you have to find a rag to apply it. No longer. This little bottle fits right into my spice cabinet and is handy. Wash and dry your board, a few quick shakes of this bottle and you're done. it's brilliant

Handles for my wooden utensils

Would give 5* but bottle leaked badly. Thank goodness the carrier put it in a ziplock bag. There are no inscriptions on the bottle at all, but this is a good "applicator". The oil has NO odor so I didn't notice it. Should it be? The applicator is a good idea and works well although NOT reusable. Also, there was absolutely no writing on the bottle as pictured? What about it.?

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Only available in black

Easy to use: wood conditioners, waxes and oils

Used on a new raw cutting board as well as a well used favourite. In both cases it worked fine. The new one will be put into operation shortly. The old one already has it. It looks like new. The nice thing is that you can easily apply directly from the bottle with the applicator. There is a screw cap that is meant to hold the applicator elastic. This small bottle contains enough oil to lubricate multiple cutting boards, bowls or cutlery.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Exactly what I needed!

I didn't even know where to start on what to dress up my cutting board with, I assumed vegetable oil but read it would go rancid etc. After reading the mineral oil I thought it was might be confusing but this Bamboogle product is perfect in every way. So easy to apply, nothing tangles and has a lovely citrus scent but very subtle. The cutting board looks great again and I'm glad the wood is now protected. Very glad I found this.

  • Great for a small home

Great for house cleaning

Got a nice side grain cutting board and it was so thirsty. I drank the first two uses of this oil. It's really amazing what this oil does to my board paint, it really brings out the different wood colors and hides any knife marks quite well. It also worked well on some of the very dry pieces of wood I have. I love how easy it is to use and apply. I put it on my cutting board every time and it's a very pleasant experience. I wish I could figure out how to store an applicator bottle and just fill

  • Easy to use

Some Good Things: Household Chemicals

Like many people use mineral oil for cutting boards etc, I used a piece of gauze and a bottle of FDA mineral oil. It's always been dirty. Oil on my hands, countertop and oil bottle. Well, not anymore. It's a cool thing, it reminds me of the old days of shoe polish in a bottle with a sponge at the end you just rub your shoes on. Same goes for chopping boards etc. There isn't a lot of clutter like it used to be. Easy to use and clean. Will this mineral oil last longer than others I've used? No…

Cons
  • So far so good

Supplied in bubble wrap but the bottle was securely wrapped in a plastic bag which came in handy in the event of a spill. There wasn't really the possibility of a leak as the lid was screwed on perfectly to keep it tight. My 10 year old handled the cutting board and one of the spoons while I handled the other two. Loved the foam tip applicator. You push down and it moves about 1/4 inch, then push to release the oil. If you lift it to mix, no more oil will come out until you squeeze and squeeze…

Makes tedious work fast and really pleasant!

This is a high quality oil with a very light citrus scent that applies cleanly and does not darken or discolour the wood. But what makes it different is how it's packaged, using the same style of applicator used for shoe polish. ALL dressing oils should be sold like this! This is absolutely 100% a mess. With most oils, you have to be careful to apply it evenly, and you'll end up on your clothes, furniture, countertop, or floor, especially if the item you're seasoning is too big to fit. I'm…
