Easy assembly. took 5 minutes. But as others have said mine arrived a bit damaged as the only protection from damage is the box itself. Nothing protects the corners from transport damage. Also, the shelf slides on the table so I need to attach some rubber pads underneath.

I think you pay for what you get. I had high hopes for this product but when it arrived I was completely disappointed. A corner was damaged, the product had scratches and no, I didn't use a knife to open it. The Ovzla ring came off. It's not just a tree. Collect a little more and get a durable, reliable item.

This shelf raises my iMac 3.5 inch so I can recline my chair and stand for a while. Sitting more than I could ever imagine and just not my preference. Regal The simple 3 piece cabinet is made from engineered wood such as chipboard and is therefore heavier than it looks. It's strong and stable though, and with a flat black finish, it's easy to live with. They make a 2 shelf version which I checked but ultimately settled on this model which fits me just fine sitting or standing. I recommend.

In the foreword I would like to say that this is exactly what I was looking for. It doesn't raise the monitor much, which is what I was looking for because I have a 27" iMac that doesn't need to be raised much. It feels very durable, supports my computer and looks elegant. BUT I took it out. boxed only to find some scratches and "dents" with missing paint on edges AND flat surfaces. It looks like it has been used as it has many signs of wear.

I've been looking for monitor stands for my home work with 3 monitors for a long time. These shelves work great. I didn't want anything with glass or drawers, just sturdy and a few inches lower. I also didn't want anything possibly sliding onto the table, so I ruled out the plastic as well. They're pretty strong and heavy for what they are and how much they cost.
