There are disadvantages, but the product is usable.

I received it today, I began to check everything seems to be working, but the fm radio does not work. The mode turns on and silence. And scanned and manually entered nothing helps. I later read that the Chinese stopped supplying walkie-talkies with a radio, if only to ask them to send old batches. But it is unpleasant that what is stated on the market in fact is not - they were misled. Then the headset - the transmit button does not work on it, the feeling that it was generally put on another…

Pros
  • Complete set, transmit/receive works.
Cons
  • FM radio does not work, the button on the headset does not work.

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I have never come across walkie-talkies, but cycling in places where cell reception is poor made me think about alternative types of communication. They were able to deal with the walkie-talkie in just 10 minutes. The main thing was to look at the frequencies on which you can broadcast without registration - they, of course, turned out to be clogged with negotiations between builders from local construction sites, but you can find gaps there too. In general, a very good option for getting to…

Pros
  • A good walkie-talkie in order to get acquainted with walkie-talkies as such. Inexpensive, loud, many settings, popular enough to find instructions on any subject on the Internet. In densely populated areas, it calmly keeps in touch at distances of about 2 km (I just didn’t go further) You can change the antenna if necessary.
Cons
  • The headset that comes with the kit looks watery and you have to get used to how it is attached to your ear. You need your own power supply for charging.

. my new radio a few days ago and i love it. My nephew got.

I got my new radio a few days ago and I like it very much. My nephew got me into ham radio and he suggested this one, a really nice little radio, smaller than I thought it would be. Works great, once you understand what you're doing with it all I can do now is listen to it. But I will study and hopefully it won't take too long to pass the test to get my driver's license. 100% satisfied with the radio, also ordered the original 15.6 inch Nagoya NA-771 whip antenna from BaoFeng Tech. It came in…

Good first radio. suitable for CB and walkie-talkies

My first walkie-talkie. Bought cheap on a whim and have been learning more and more since then. I recently got my technician license and am looking forward to being able to stream and not just listen. Programming isn't as hard as people think. The menu navigation makes sense. Not much can be done on the two-line display. Spend some time fiddling with the menu and you'll quickly turn it off. The battery life is really good. I can listen to my local repeater and area control center (dual…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Very expensive

This product is fine. But I can't say anything about the seller. He sent me the UV5RC, not the UV5R. The radio was as pictured. This is a cheaper integrated option with no reinforcement around the LCD screen. Therefore, the display cover is simply glued on and can become detached over time by rubbing against your belt or clothing. The vendor called me personally and asked if I was happy with the request for a good review. I told him about my dissatisfaction but he didn't offer to send another…

Pros
  • Very good quality

Radio A+. Highly Recommended

Very well built. Not cheaply made. Feels solid and doesn't look like a toy. Works exactly as described. I can only say good things about him. I was able to turn on the repeater about ten miles from my home. You wouldn't get that kind of floor-to-floor clearance. With the included rubber ducky, I only got from walkie-talkie to walkie-talkie about half a mile. But I never expected more. It sits flush with my 2m pld jtx-202 and my 2m alinco. Unfortunately, the ham group in my area broke up shortly

Get BF-F8hp! for portable AV equipment

There are never enough company walkie talkies where I work so I decided to buy my own in hopes it would work with our system. I chose BaoFeng based on rumours. I took the cheapest model (UV-5R) hoping it would work. And so it was. Given our operating frequency, this is not a problem. I gave it 2 stars because it constantly produces a VERY annoying rhythmic noise. Carrying this noise all day can drive me crazy! Another problem with the radio was that the speaker stopped working after a week. Its

I was blown away by how great this

This little radio is amazing! I don't have the money to invest hundreds or thousands of dollars in an expensive radio, so I didn't know what to expect from a cheap radio like this. I was amazed at how great this radio is! I have had and have been using mine for a few months now and it works great. What I did: Bought a Power Expert 7.5" 2m/70cm antenna for them, which may have helped with performance; I also bought a CHIRP cable for radio programming as you can't call up channels from the radio…

Pros
  • CB Radio and Walkie Talkie
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
