My trailer was built with the color wires they came with. It took a bit of testing to figure out which wire did what (on these headlights and on my trailer). I finally got around to replacing my old halogen tail light bulbs after trying to replace them with LED bulbs (which was NOT SUCCESSFUL). I bought these lights to replace the factory bulbs on my new motorhome. The ones in the trailer were very dark and couldn't be seen during the day.
