Excellent material! Best in Fillers, Adhesives and Sealants

I had a severe coolant leak through the timing chain cover on a 2006 Ford Ranger and it ran and held. Make sure your radiator is completely drained before adding this stuff, then pour coolant over it and make sure your coolant reservoir is also level while the coolant heater runs for about 30 minutes and that's it . should be good! It's an amazing thing, and I'm a woman, and I did it because it's bloody hard to throw away $1,300 on repairs right now.

It works out ! on the radiator

So my 2007 VW Passat Wagon fan has failed, it has overheated. A few months later I replaced the fan. Blow the head gasket! Very expensive repair for my van then I came across this product, hard to believe it could help but IT did it! My leak is probably not big enough for the product to do what it should do, a month has passed and the coolant level is fine! Recommended for minor leaks!

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • No power

Goodbye, Mister Mechanic!

This is AMAZING! I have a warped head on a Dodge 5.7 gemi (probably 2). The shop charged each side $2,000 for a complete brain job. I didn't have that much money, so I bought this material in an attempt to "please you, Maria." After that I realized I hadn't followed the instructions exactly but it was over 2000 miles before the leak started. This time we fucking got the direction perfect and it's been about 4 years or so and about 40,000 miles! I'm sorry, Mister Mechanic. I will use this stuff…

  • A sea of positive emotions

  • There are problems

My '97 GMC truck had a leaking intake manifold gasket.

My '97 GMC truck had an intake gasket that kept leaking coolant until I either had to spend a lot of money on a repair or try it. Somehow it worked. Just prior to using this as advertised, I lost 1.5 gallons of fluid in one leg of the trip (about 35 miles). About 15 minutes after applying this product, the leak stopped. So I drove about 150 miles and didn't see a drop of coolant. I can't say anything about the duration yet, but now the problem is solved!

Better than expected

Before you use this, think about what you are doing. The instructions say to pour directly into the radiator (except for a few items for cars with expansion tanks). After using it I realized that he probably said to let the motor cool down a bit, but not completely. This gives the cooler space for more liquid. I let it cool completely. I had to put it in the overflow, although that's not exactly what the instructions say. However, I no longer have coolant losses. Several months have passed and…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some minor issues

I own several GM/Cadillacs. As they age, they tend to overheat. An intermittent coolant leak is expected. After replacing radiators, hoses, etc. there were still leaks. I poured a bottle of Bar's Leak 1109 Block Seal Liquid Copper into a 2002 Deville and a 2005 Deville. Both run cooler [since there are no coolant leaks] and the coolant spill tanks remain at their "full” levels. I have been using bar products for over 40 years. They are the best --- the highest quality and efficiency. I would…

Great product when shopping here in my hometown but one thing I have to say out loud: Revain! Are you kidding me? In this state, how can it be allowed to ship from the so-called professional company outlet? First I opened my mailbox and I see my package and the package is torn up so I drive to Fred Meyers with an overheated engine and I needed lick rods which I ordered from Revain. Luckily I was on my way to a shop that sells the same product because when I got there I couldn't go any further…
