Thicker near the bezel and thinner and softer on the back. Love it! Exactly what I was looking for. Impressive build quality. I will definitely buy more. This is my Skyhawk that just got a Breitling Cockpit B50 makeover! ☺️

Short pins I left the same review on the silicone straps which I also ordered. The length of the pen needs to be corrected. 20mm is the right size for my Tag Heuer Aquaracer watch. I have compared the length of the stylus to 3 other 20mm styluses I have and the styluses in this Barton are too short. Not much, but because it doesn't stay in the pin holes, the watch strap falls out

Excellent quality group. As stated in another review, this is a 'top grain' and not whole grain and they are very clear about that. I don't think anyone should have skin quality issues. The quick release is also a great feature. This makes it easier to go back to my black bar when needed. I will definitely buy from Barton again.

I have several Barton watch straps and the quality and price are always top notch. This alligator grain is no exception. The strap is flexible, comfortable and looks great. I love QR spring bars - I wouldn't put anything else on my more expensive watch. My only minor complaint is that the bottom portion tapers into a (mostly) straight line rather than a V. This makes the strap look a little less formal *tiny*, but it's barely noticeable when you're wearing the strap, so really doesn't bother me

I purchased a blue alligator leather strap that elevates the blue hands on my Seiko Cocktail Time and adds a nice pop of color. Good quality. The leather is comfortable, the seams are of high quality, I could not find any problems with the fit and workmanship. It's not real alligator leather, but high-quality cowhide leather with a crocodile pattern, which is quite acceptable for this price. I used hobby pliers and removed the tiny bead that was attached to the spring bar that attaches the bracelet to the watch. The tiny ball is used to quickly remove the watch strap from your wrist. At this point I can say that I really like how it looks on my blue bezel Galaxy watch. How long it will last remains to be seen and only time will tell. It's very easy to put on and take off and I needed it because I use my watch to track my workouts and I love the ability to quickly switch bands. The package was also very nice.
