I LOVED it at first and then realized the dollar bills that come with it are nearly impossible to get out of the cash register. The scanner beeps on its own time so don't expect it to "scan" every time its used. Everything else is just fine.

This is a very cute cash register. I am happy we purchased it in orange! The cash register itself is great quality. The belt to ring the food in is on the small side, I wish it was bigger. The scanner is a big hit, my child pretends it's a phone. The paper money is a challenge, as my toddler for sure will destroy it, and the basket with some play food is not the best quality. I love this little cash register! My two young grandchildren love to play grocery store and play with it every time they visit. It's a great tool for learning math skills with the calculator as well!

Ran out of battery on the first day. When I installed new battery it stopped working for a few days then started working again.

My only complaint is the money drawer is way too small. The place for the bills is the exact width as the bills - meaning, if you put the bills in and push them down (as you’d have to do, in order to close the drawer) they get completely stuck! I had to pry them out with a paper clip. So obviously it’s not something my toddler will be able to handle on her own. And the money is her favorite part to play with.

My daughter was happy with the set and is able to practice numbers which all kids could find useful. It even has fake money and a scanner! Great purchase

I was so disappointed when it didn't work. Battat is generally very reliable product. I went back to the drawing board and tried again. This time, I gave it a good bang on the bottom and voila! It's working perfectly. Much better now.

My son chose this register over the other option we were considering because the video showed it made cute sounds with the scanner and the credit card slider.We have two issues with the product:1. The money does not fit well in the drawer. It’s so tight you have to shove it in and wiggle the bills back out which is not good with paper money.2. The credit card scanner stopped making sounds in less than a month.I usually love Battat B. toys but this product is not to the standard I expect.

I would not buy this again. The money does not properly fit in the drawer so it’s a pain in the ass to get in and out, even for an adult. Also, who puts a lock on a play register drawer? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Reminds me of what sounds you really hear at the grocery store! It has been a wonderful addition to our homeschooling curriculum for learning money!
