Baxton Studio Coolidge Shoe Storage Espresso Review

Arrived on time. This item comes with detailed assembly instructions. Some of the parts are marked to facilitate assembly. This is durable and reliable furniture. However, my 1/2" ankle-high shoes didn't fit. Even high-top sneakers would have to be turned sideways.

Terrible quality and dangerous! just 3 months later when i opened the door the seam in the corner of the door came loose and fell apart. Because it had a sharp piece of metal in it, it cut my finger and I bled for 15 minutes! I was going to reassemble it and use wood glue but the other piece of wood you see in the picture broke. Now the return is very difficult and the return window is closed but I at least hope they send me a replacement door!

I read a lot of questionable reviews about this closet but decided to take a chance because my shoes took up my entire apartment. It was SUPER easy to put together (and none of the parts were labeled), looks great and fits perfectly where I needed it. I had to remove the bottom shelf to fit my boots. About 4 pairs of shoes fit on the shelf. Honestly this is the perfect piece for the price. So if you are looking for a shoe cabinet of this size, this is it. I am very satisfied with the result!

Lots of mixed reviews here, we took the risk - does what we expected. Assembly was relatively easy, not sure about older orders but they come with decent instructions. Only one hex wrench was included, you need your own screwdrivers. Overall it's definitely sturdy enough - don't rely on it to sit down, but it's great for storing your shoes and using the top for books and keys. This shoe storage was very easy to assemble and I think it looks very nice in the living room. Two stars two for durability. The doors and latch seemed to work great until about 8 months later half the slats on one side came loose.
