I ordered these mats because I needed a driver's floor mat that would keep my boots from snow, mud and water beading off during the long winter and wet spring. My car is a Honda Fit, very small, but the floor mat is too narrow. A few wide strips of carpet remain between the left edge of the carpet and the door. The listing said the mats fit my car. It does not mean that they cover the areas in which they should work.

I thought this would be a good replacement for the one I bought from Costco 8 years ago. I was too lazy to drive to Costco to see if I could find heavy-duty mats to replace my old ones. So I bought her. They're terrible, even for the price. They move everywhere and are very thin. Now that I am writing this review I will try to return it. DO NOT BUY unless you are happy to spend money on a bad product.

The product seems thick enough and is definitely easier to clean than carpet. Cutting is not difficult either. So what's the problem? Fitting. It will not be difficult for a supplier to provide a template or diagram showing where to cut "for the best fit". If I can, so can you, but it will not be difficult for them to provide such support. Even if it says so on their website. However, it's hard to beat the price.

I was planning to order Weathertech floor mats for my 2015 Buick Lacrosse. However, after researching on the internet, I took the risk of buying these floor mats. Good quality floor mats for the price. They are heavy and don't smell, they seem to be well made. Winter snow and salt are bad for vehicles here in Michigan, including factory floor mats. They should work well to protect the soil in winter. I always clean my factory carpets before spring. I brush my cars in and out regularly so we'll see how they hold up. I bought these for my son's 2000 Honda. They are much cleaner than the original carpets and are easy to clean. They fit perfectly. The only negative is that they have a very strong smell but it will obviously wear off so I didn't pull any reviews off it. UPDATE: My son has had them since late March 2021, it is now mid-August 2021 and the smell has NOT GONE. It's as strong as it was when he first put it in the car. I like these but they are thin and light. I prefer the feel of rugs, but sometimes I want to protect my floors. They are good for this because they can be easily taken on and off for storage. I actually received the wrong item first (Motor Trend brand) and they came in a huge box and weighed a ton. They lay flat and didn't move.
