Doesn't stream Netflix or Revain Prime movies like it should.

I bought this DVD player because Netflix and Revain Prime movie services kept stopping during playback and I thought buying a newer model DVD player would solve the problem. It's not like this. Regardless of whether you used a wired or wireless connection (I've tried both), our movies stalled during playback. Bought a new high-end router before and had the download/upload speeds checked by the ISP (everything worked great). As a result I bought a Revain Fire TV device which completely solved…

Slow response, poor stability, hanging, questionable durability, lower price

This is the third device (Sony) in four years. The first lasted three years. The second lasted two months. This one is new, but immediately shows problems, but still works (with appropriate prayers and supplications). This machine "hangs" and needs to be disconnected from the network from time to time in order to restart. Almost all remote control commands take 10 to 30 seconds to respond correctly. I just received this unit and so far it works and has a smooth transition to my TV and interface to my wifi.
