Strong yarn ideal for beadwork

Crystal Color is Wildfire's best monofilament for beadwork as some of the other colors in the Widfire range are known to actually color your hands when used. Use the shorter length, about 18 inches, as longer pieces tend to wear down (but not lose integrity).

Pros
  • Frans not out
Cons
  • New competitors are here

easy to pull through beads repeatedly and holds firmly

This is my standard thread for all beads. The only frustration I have is that when I'm working with longer stretches, they tend to tangle (and once they do, they tend to do it repeatedly), but that's probably because of it that I'm much better at working with longer pieces than tying and weaving in more strands more often. But it's really smooth, easily goes through the beads repeatedly and holds tight.

Pros
  • Thermal Bond Coating
Cons
  • Off Fashion

Yes it will be my favorite

I've found that those of us who make net jewelry tend to have our favorites when it comes to threads and I have to admit that I kindle wildfire as mine . Sure, it doesn't have as many colors as the Nymo, but I don't need to condition it, I don't worry about it weakening over time, and I've never had to worry about it breaking. Sure, that's a little more than the more popular Nymo, but honestly? I think a piece of mind is worth a few bucks more. Also, it comes in a larger "roll" so it's cheaper…

Pros
  • Colorfast
Cons
  • Unreliable
