Provides a good amount of light

Have 2 for my 125 gallon aquarium, provides a good amount of light. I only love blue in the mornings and evenings, you'll soon see me slowly adding coral when it's in the right spectrum of light.

Good work! suitable for aquarium lights

I like these lights for aquariums with plants. They're almost too bright for my 29 gallon tanks, but since I have them on my Beamswork dimmer/riser timers that let you adjust the light intensity, that's no longer an issue. My plants are very happy and growing well and I love the tones these lights produce.

But not a bad light.

I actually have two Beams Works lights and really like them for the timer function, although I have to buy the timer separately. The problem is algae. I am an experienced aquarist. I currently have 5 tanks and I have pretty good control over the algae growth, but nothing I do is control the algae in those two tanks to the point where I could move them. Only algae and light remain unchanged. I use this 20 gallon light. To be honest, I would recommend a different light.

Used lamp, sold as new

I bought this item from topdogseller which was supposed to be new. Apparently it was a used item which was returned and is being sold as new. The item did not come with the legs/brackets used to hold the flashlight so it is quite useless and not as described. As you can see from the photos a random power cord was also included which does not fit this light and you can see in the last picture that the label on the box marks the item as 'new'. very strong no. If topdogseller could send me…

Bright balanced output

I've been servicing ship tanks for over 40 years so I have some experience of what works and what a bot does. This lamp was purchased to replace the previous LED which lasted 3 years. I use on 29 offshore pools, nice and bright. Algae grows a bit on a 12 hour cycle so you'll need to adjust the time to suit your environment. The color balance is almost perfect. It has a simple (on/off switch). Blue and white can be controlled independently with a special timer module. Sold separately for…
