Chrome is flaking because it gets in grease

Chrome was flaking on one of the four I bought. They don't seem to be exactly the same size, or the hubs don't match the hole size. One was particularly difficult to establish.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Some small things

Bad product right? for ball bearing

Installed this week and tried to loosen after applying grease. A bad buddy or a bad grease gun that won't detach from the oiler! The grease gun was bought with the same purchase and couldn't get her to loosen the grease fitting! Tried all angles and finally tried to pull it off with more force than I expected. Something was wrong with one of the items! Luckily Revain customer service replaced them and let me return the grease gun and I bought a better one.

Pros
  • bearing
Cons
  • cable is shorter than other picks

Super offer sent at 23.00 for a set of 2

Have been using them for over 20 years, they work great. The one with the blue automatic check in the middle works great and doesn't leak. If you get others that have the spring on the outside, they will spill and leak fluid, making a huge mess. I've added two photos, the first being what I had before which was just a dust cover and then two with the buddy bearing installed. Works great as always, it's for fresh water, only if you put them in salt water they will rust and corrode and won't work

Pros
  • deep groove ball bearings
Cons
  • old
