I bought this specifically because it said it was 100% cotton. The slip I received was a mix of cotton and polyester, which is exactly what I did not want. I returned it and revain gave me a full refund without any hassle. The seller needs to correct the description.

It was an emergency; I forgot to pack a slip! Decided to try out this cotton petticoat instead of a nylon slip and found it to be exactly what I needed in the moment. However, I would warn this is exactly what you pay for; It COULD be better, but it would increase the price immediately. I love this slip! The embroidery and the edges are so delicate and pretty.I got this to go under some of my skirts that are too thin. I like that I can let this slip peek out of I want. It's comfortable too!

Besides its cool comfort, the slip is beautiful. If it should peek out below my skirt, all the better. I am quite pleased with my purchase and it5 fair and reasonable price. I purchased one in black, one in white.

I love the fit and length of this slip. I ended up using it as an underskirt for a dirndl and it did the job perfectly. It added just the right amount of white lace to the bottom of the dress. The length can be adjusted a little by rolling it over on itself at the elastic waist. I wear a size 4/6 US in clothing. Based on other reviews, I ordered a Medium in this skirt and it fit fine - I might have been able to wear the Small, but I liked having the extra room for comfort/mobility.

Beautiful lace, the ruffle design gives a light flare to the hem of dresses. Makes wearing synthetic clothing much more comfortable.

I really enjoy the vintage look of this slip and have purchased 3 of them to go under my knee length skirts. I love that the detailing on the bottom peeks out a little, and it provides wonderful lift and fullness to my unlined skirts. Size 14 and 5'9".I bought this as a petticoat or half slip. I find it is not full enough even to wear under an a-line skirt. I hate that feeling when you are walking and because the slip does not have enough width, it prohibits your normal walking stride and hobbled you. The materials seem OK, and the lace is nice. They are just cutting corners by not making it wide enough. Unfortunately I will not order again.

This is a step up from my old shiny polyester half slip. This slip is substantial but not too poufy under an A-line empire waist maxi dress. The lace trim is gorgeous. The cotton slip feels good. The "line" where the lace starts hits a little oddly right at the knee, but if I pull the slip up a couple inches (slightly above natural waist), then the knees are "free" to move unimpeded. I purchased the 22in length and my daughter took it in on the sides so it would fit my 8 year old. It hits her mid-calf and is perfect for under her dresses that just don't have the length I want.

I like that it is a cotton slip and that it is a full slip. I mean that the skirt on the slip is full. This makes it good for any full skirted dress or skirt. I would order another one.
