Description of 🧂 ZEROJAPAN Salt Box (Artichoke): Stylish and Functional Salt Storage Solution

We have added a unique sprinkle to the traditional saltbox. Its lid is made from Hinoki wood (Japanese cypress) which allows the salt to "breathe" while keeping exterior odors away. Compared to open salt containers like salt pigs, our saltboxes are easier to refill and access while they protect the salt from kitchen splatter and from clumping in humid conditions. Our comfortable carry-handle lets you maneuver with ease with one hand while you're seasoning your dish or salting a pot of boiling water (in a hurry!). With the attached flip-lid, you never have to accidentally lose it or leave the salt exposed to food debris. It sits nicely on the counter with your other kitchen containers as it is space-saving (for its capacity), not to mention it's visually appealing. Choose the color that best fits the flavor of your kitchen!. The lid is made out of Hinoki wood (Japanese cypress) to keep odors away. Ceramic keeps salt free of moisture, chemicals, dust, and food splashes.

Useful addition to my "kitchen battery "

With the addition of a small spoon that I already have that fits in, I find this salt box a great way to store and use kosher salt - and it cannot be confused with my salt shaker which is on the same shelf.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • thin

Simple, cute and functional

I love this little box that I can use as a salt box. It's ceramic, so I'd be careful with it. The wooden lid is beautiful and has a slight pleasant Cypriot smell that does not spoil the taste of the salt. Holds maybe 2 cups(?) of salt.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • A few little things

Excellent purchase in container sets

I am very happy with this purchase. Thoughtful design. The handle is very comfortable and very different from any other salt container. I bought two, a white and an artichoke. They look very nice in every kitchen. I bought a product from this company many, many years ago. Still flawless and still the same good quality

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Compatibility

Very good. for food storage

It did not contain salt on arrival and I was not expecting it as they do not claim it. But after buying the salt and putting it in a container, this is how it is now. Inside the jar I also leave a small porcelain spoon, which I use to pick up salt. I hope you understand, I use this as a container for salt.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

If you like the look of this salt box, I think you will.

If you like the look of this salt shaker, I think you will be happy with the purchase. It's well made and contains a fair amount of salt. The wooden lid has a pleasant smell. I read somewhere that this is a Japanese cypress. Good. I use it to store slightly damp Japanese sea salt. The salt rusted on the steel shaker I kept it in. Apparently this problem is solved.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • There are cons

Nice box, couple of editions

Honestly I wanted to love this dish. I've had it for a year now and my main complaint is that it's not designed for one-handed use. You can't grab a box by the handle and open it with your thumb. It's a little more than I thought. The design doesn't look high quality. especially the loop for opening the lid. there are many streaks. That doesn't mean I don't like the salt box. complete luxury object

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons

Cute, green, with handle

Pretty simple. Works great as a salt shaker. Large enough to easily accommodate large pinches of salt at any time. The lid can remain open if desired. The lid is of decent weight, so a light tap closes it instantly. When closed the lid has minimal gaps, there are small gaps but it really helps remove the moisture from the salt which allows the water to evaporate. The handle is strong, I don't see how it will break.

Pros
  • Beautiful item
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Looks great and works well

Bought as a gift for a friend. We cook often and so far it has worked as intended and was fairly easy to clean (thai iced tea didn't even stain the wood when sprinkled on it). I have big hands and can easily reach the bottom of the container and the lid rim makes it easy to lift even if your hands are dirty. We also often have people over for lunch and we've gotten lots of compliments on how cute the salt box is.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Justifies the storage & organization hype

, but gave up due to recommendation from channels like Bon appetit, as well as the need to take salt out of the cupboard and pour carefully with each meal. It's such a thing that it's hard to imagine how you managed without it before. If you're wondering if you need something to hold your salt and be easily accessible while cooking, you should definitely get one. It doesn't have to be this one, but it looks good and does the important thing I want it to do without me having to think about it…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I was a little put off by the price of the old
