Fits as it should on Parts

Beautifully made and looks and feels like the original it replaced. Approximately 15 minutes to insert and fill to mark. It doesn't get much easier than that.

Works but had to change the mounting hole

4/5 stars because the lower mounting post on the bottom of the tank did not fit the factory mounting hole on the body. I had to modify the body metal to match the receiver.

  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Quick Instructions

Didn't fit my 2008 Jetta, seller will not refund

Didn't fit my 2008 Jetta, the product page said it would fit. I requested an exchange/refund but the seller refused the refund because I didn't ask for it within 30 days of purchase.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Nothing

For the price it's not worth returning, I just got it working.

I installed this in my 2003 Golf TDI. The mounting tabs and molded mounting stud on the bottom are out of sync, so I couldn't use all of the mounting screws. Also, the "pin" on the bottom is larger than the hole in the car. The threads for the hat don't quite match either. It is very difficult to unscrew the cap. It doesn't come with a cap so I reused the original.

  • Satisfied so far

Perfect fit for Skoda Octavia

I replaced a 17 year old coolant reservoir with a 2001 Skoda Octavia; It had a lot of debris as shown in the photos and the plastic was so dirty that it wasn't easy to check the coolant level. The top hose connector was also a bit bent so it was time for a new one. This is a quick exchange, takes about 15 minutes. Now I can see the coolant level clearly. For $15 this product looks okay. Time will tell about the quality.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No power

Seems to fit great, only the mounting post was a bit too big

This is the correct part for my 2003 Mk4 GTI 1.8t except the round mounting post was too small at the bottom to fit the mounting hole in the bracket to fit under the bottle. I found that a few quick cuts with the file trimmed the circumference just enough to fit. I didn't want to cut it off, otherwise the bottle would be safe enough for me. That issue aside, it really does appear to be a perfect match, an identical fit. I even used my old cap and it fits and seals great.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Looks better than the original

Sometime between the check engine light flickering, the ESP and/or transmission brake lights flickering, or possibly catastrophic mechanical failure of your engine, your VW will begin to losing coolant. The question now is whether the loss of coolant was factory-made or not. However, with these cars, a universal truth is evident: if there's no coolant under it, then there's no coolant in it. This bottle is of very good quality. Actually better than the one VW used when new. Our 02 TDI developed

Pros
  • Great for a small home
